FAMILY CELEBRATION AT LUTON HOO

One of our Russian clients was looking for a special family celebration with national colour for her birthday. We sourced themed entertainment, combining traditional music and dance performances by gypsy band and popular Russian singer, planned an exquisite reception and gala dinner, and made sure that every guest hit the dance floor during the afterparty.

For this special family celebration, our client chose the magnificent former stately home Luton Hoo, now a luxury hotel surrounded by over a thousand acres of gardens and parkland. We loved their choice: not only does this hotel offers elegant accommodation with opulent decor, but also has its own river, lakes, spa centre and golf course all sequestered in outstanding countryside.

The weather cooperated for once, allowing us to organise an outdoor reception and photo session with the park and mansion as a backdrop. During the reception, guests enjoyed a traditional gypsy acoustic performance. It featured well-known Russian songs, including "Ochi Chyornye" and it was one of the highlights of this part of the evening.

We opted to use the magnificent drawing room - overlooking the garden, park and central fountain - as the main party venue so after the reception, guests moved indoors for a superb banquet during which they enjoyed listening to popular Russian singer Alexander Malinin, famous for his romances. Later on, an Italian band performed a few bespoke pieces together with the gypsy band and brought everyone to the dance-floor. For the grand finale, we arranged a spectacular firework show synchronised with the birthday cake moment.
